A spent flower head near UNM in its final season is the subject of my 11/10/25 postcard, each tiny dried pod peeled open to reveal slick, glossy black seeds. The structure radiates from the center like a botanical starburst, delicate yet precise. It’s nature’s architecture, still striking, with a story yet to be told.
