My 11/23/25 postcard is a once-bright flower I found on Ridgecrest before a hailstorm forced me to pack up my camera. It hangs on at the end of the season, its magenta petals curling inward and fading. The center remains vibrant, packed with texture and small bursts of color, as if the flower is refusing to surrender entirely. Unmistakably alive in its last blaze of color.
