We were walking south from Bridge Street along the river when we came to an area covered in broken glass. We had found what’s known as Glass Graveyard. It’s a twenty-acre tract that was the Old River Landfill from 1920 to 1940. My picture for 08/02 is some of the broken glass that covers the ground in this area.
